Gozo is appealing to the eye and to the soul. Definitely worth exploring.
To experience the beautiful Ta Cenc Cliffs is a good walk. Impressive 120m almost vertical cliffs with strong winds coming in makes me just a little afraid of heights. But it’s also an adventurous place to kick off your shoes and relax for a while.
Dwejra with the Azur Window and the famous dive sites the Blue hole and Inland sea is another must see. The day I went there the wind was not favorable to dive the blue, the sea was showing off its power and was beautiful in another way. I mixed in a few photos from last year since I had the wrong wind to take the idyllic Azur Window pictures this year.
Victoria city with the Citadella is the hub if the island. The fortified Citadella has served as protection from invading forces for the Gozitians.
Marsalforn is a dive mecca. A beautiful bay close to Ramla beach. Marsalforn is a home to most dive centers on Gozo and plenty of restaurants and bars along with accommodation. It’s a good place to enjoy a meal or a beer next to the sea.
